What Is Stadel?

“Stadel Lion Man” is a sculpture that was found in 1939 in a cave in Hohlenstein-Stadel and dated by carbon14 to more than 32.000 years ago.

It is the oldest and certainly one of the most remarkable statuettes in human history.

It represents the abstract imagination and vision of our ancient ancestors and proofs that we humans have been imagining and producing art for thousands of years.
